Finally fixed it!

I made progress with cleaning! I got one of my bookshelves cleaned off and had the stuff dumped in a box to sort through. I'd also cleaned up a corner that had gathered junk (this was when I discovered some things had gotten wet, and I lost some pictures because of mold... I should have doubles, but some awards from school also got wet, so if anyone knows how to get mold off of paper or know if bleach works, let me know). I had to stop and now the box is sitting next to my bed, not sorted because I had to take the time to back up my computer (which I was just barely able to do), including all of the iTunes music I hadn't had the chance to back up yet, and do a system restore. Why? Because my computer was acting as though it had a virus, and I got the blue screen of death about two weeks ago. Yeah. Not much left to do after that. :/

I also now have an external hard drive. It's got a ton of space, so it should do the trick. I just felt I needed an additional back up in case it happened again.

1. Which song do you prefer, #1 or #40?
Definitely #40. "Welcome to the 60's." Unfortunately, there's a reason "I Get A Rush" was an unreleased song. The music is good, but they could have done better with the lyrics.

2. Have you ever listened to #12 continuously on repeat?
No.

3. What album is #26 from?
The Uptown Girls soundtrack.

4. What do you think about the artist who did #15?
I liked 'N Sync a lot when I was a kid. Looking back, I can see how their style contibuted to the evolution of pop today. Justin Timberlake felt a little ahead of his time then. Actually, he probably was even with Futuresex/Lovesounds. It may be for the best that they are no longer a group, however, given that they seemed to be built as a flash in the pan group. Boy bands do not have much success these days.

5. Is #19 one of your favorite songs?
Um. Not one of my favorite songs ever, but it's one of my favorite songs on Kris Allen.

6. Who does #38 remind you of?
Who? I guess Frank Sinatra since that's where Jon got the idea. Really, it surprises me how many people don't get that "Like Frankie said, 'I did it my way'" is a Sinatra reference.

7. Does #20 have better lyrics or music?
Are you kidding? I don't even think the music is supposed to matter.

8. Do any of your friends like #3?
I don't even know if I like it since I don't really care for the chorus. I doubt it. I don't have any friends that like Archie, as far as I know.

9. Is #33 from a movie soundtrack?
Um, no.

10. Is #18 overplayed on the radio?
Well, it wasn't a single, so it never even made it to radio. Good question, though.

11. What does #21 remind you of?
Awesomeness. Really. It's a rockish big band song. Reminds me of those old style singers who did it right, honestly.

12. Which song do you prefer, #5 or #22?
I don't know. I guess the Backstreet Boys one because it's so sweet. There's an awful lot of songs about heartache.

13. What album is #17 from?
Doo-Wops & Hooligans by Bruno Mars--one of the best albums ever.

14. When did you first hear #39?
I actually don't know. A couple of years ago, if memory serves correctly. I don't listen to a lot of Night Ranger. It's really just one of those things sitting on my computer collecting dust.

15. When did you first hear #7?
The first day I got the album, I think. I remember being in my aunt and uncle's car. We were either in Chicago or on the way home from Chicago. I'd say that was back in May of 2003.

16. What genre is #8?
Rock. I won't be picky about what kind of rock since genres start to get annoying anyway.

17. Do any of your friends like #14?
I don't know, actually. I don't know many people that like U2 or Lee's cover of the song. Hmm.

18. What color does #4 remind you of?
Blue.

19. Have you ever blasted #11 on your stereo?
I've played it on my stereo, but I've never blasted it. There's really only one time to blast that particular song.

20. What genre is #37?
Whatever the fuck Patrick Stump was thinking when he wrote the music? HEY! Yo, Patrick, I've named your genre for you! Seriously? It's like R&B mashed with punk rock. I don't know what to tell you. Is it obvious I hate the genre question?

21. Can you play #13 on any instrument?
Nope. With all of the electronica, who could? Now that I think about it. o_O

22. What is your favorite lyric from #30?
Can't you see me standing here I got my back against the record machine...

23. What is your favorite lyric from #23?
A tiger in a cage can never see the sun / This diva needs her stage / Baby let's have fun!

24. Would you recommend #24 to your friends?
That depends. If they like humorous songs, then yes, I would.

25. Is #2 a good song to dance to?
Actually, yes. It's based on "Puttin' on the Ritz," actually.

26. Do you ever hear #16 on the radio?
No. Mainly because it was never released as a single.

27. Is #32 more of a “nighttime” or “daytime” song?
I think it feels like a nighttime song. I say that because it's almost like a lullabye.

28. Does #36 have any special meaning to you?
I don't listen to it all that much, but it reminds me a lot of "Circle of Life." It's about how things keep going. It's a good message to send.

29. Do any of your friends like #31?
I think it's likely. We don't really talk about Disney songs we like, though.

30. Is #25 a fast or slow song?
It's kind of in the middle, actually. It's got a bit of a bouncy beat, but you won't jump up and down to it.

31. Is #35 a happy or sad song?
It's not really happy or sad. I guess it's sad because John Mayer felt he needed to write it. It's a plea to help women to grow up to be strong, kind people.

32. What is one of your favorite lyrics from #9?
How bad could it be ...sexuality. ...I'm not going to comment on this song.

33. Is #34 better to listen to alone or with friends?
If you're going to attempt any dancing (this is MJ, after all), probably better alone. If you're going to sing along, friends are great.

34. When did you first hear #27?
Either Christmas or December 26th of 2007.

35. Name 3 other songs by the artist who did #29.
"We Belong Together," "Without You," and "Hero"

36. Do you know all the words to #6?
Uh, no. Surprising since I like the Plain White T's a lot, and I like the song. Guess I haven't listened to that one much.

37. Does #28 have better lyrics or music?
You want me to choose? It's "Iris"! The whole song is epic! If I absolutely had to choose... I guess the music.

38. What album is #10 from?
Constantine by Constantine Maroulis.

This one seemed more interesting than most. Feel free to steal if you like.
