Well, 9/11 ended about half an hour ago. I have stuff about work to post, but that can wait.
It was just a sad day. Nearly every song I heard on the radio made me think about it. I heard the Nickelback song three or four times today. Just sad. I've felt tired and down today. I can't help but think of the people who lost loved ones...I hope no one ever has to face something this terrifying again. My youngest brother has no idea what happened or why. He wasn't even a year old when all of this happened.
Someone listed the lyrics that reminded them of the day.

I'd like to add:
Five for Fighting - "Superman"
The Eagles - "New York Minute" (my impression of the song was changed after 9/11)
The Fray - "How to Save a Life" (this has been stuck in my head all day, and while the verses probably don't fit...the chorus seems to)
I thought the RENT icon of "What You Own" would fit tonight.
